We have seen those figures unpainted... they was already looking good !Painted theey are really good !BravoOur Landsknechts are from Venexia that are for Us the best seen in 15mm... but no more on sale today... if we have to do new one We certainly choose Blue Moon !
Thankyou. Agreed, the Venexia were the best, but the bluemoon figures are a splendid replacement.
Great stuff Chris - I look forward to some shots of the whole 15mm army when it is completed
Thanks Oli, once i have finished painting some french commanders i will make a start on the black band so it will be nice to see those two pike blocks facing each other!
Nice big block of pikemen, splendidly painted!Best Iain
Hello Chris, been following your blog for some time now. Really impressed with the Blue Moon Italian Wars range. Trying not to get into another period, although 15mm scale makes it very plausible! Great painting. How do the miniatures stack up against your other ranges scale wise?
Hi Richard, the bluemoon Italian wars are a bit sturdier built than the essex and old glory, also slightly taller, perhaps 18mm, which i think is a good thing!
How long did it take you to paint the pike block, your attention detail is fantastic. I am seriously planning something for their forthcoming range of Crusade miniatures.
It was about four to five weeks for all these 69 figures!
