Sir Robert Percy and Richard III standard bearer

Four more to my Richard III mounted Bosworth group. The centre figures are Sir Robert Percy and his standard bearer, the others Richards standard bearer and a man at arms in his personal livery. Four or five more mounted figures to go. The long tailed flag is perhaps larger in scale than it would have been in reality but I prefer them this way, they are easier to paint and stand out more!

War of Roses Yorkist king.

I converted this figure from front ranks range, replacing the head with the Richard III head and made the gold chain and rose( well that was what I was aiming for it to look like) with green stuff. There is certainly not the scope for conversion on front rank figures as is on Perry ones but just a head swap and a little amateur sculpting can totally change the original figure.
The other two figures are lord Ferrer's on the left and Duke of Norfolk on the right.

It has been a while since I finished the Swiss Pike and I hope to start a new Pike bloc sometime in next few months, a mix of pro Gloria and foundry Landsknechts. I am aiming for the same basing style and size as the Swiss, and after some thought have decided to paint them as the black band who fought at battle of Pavia in French pay.

Happy painting day's to all.
