Towton sketch

Its supposed to be the battle of Towton 1461, supposedly England's bloodiest day. A bit  off the topic of wargame miniatures but seeing its not seen light of day for about six months and I have finally motivated myself to put some time on it, thought you might like to see it and give your thoughts.

  4. What? A drawing? What the heck! I want more Swiss mini's!!!

Seriously nice work. Using pencils and shading technique? If the idea was to give an engraving look from the period I would say it does that for me. I like the smoke, dust clouds from battle in the background, nice touch.

  6. You're a multi-talent Chris! Very impressive stuff, and yes, you must finish this, frame it and hang it in your war room. Really impressed by the level of depth you've been able to achieve on the sketch, are you using pencils, coal or a mix?

    Cheers,
