A few Perry plastic knights

I have finally painted some plastics!
Already had to re glue the centre figures plume after nearly breaking it!
Nice miniatures, but seem rather delicate to there metal friends.

Now its time to get some heavy metal Swiss on the painting table.

  5. Great result Chris! Oh man, I've gotta get me one of these new Perry boxes! Parts breaking off? Sounds like my Victrix Old Guard bayonet situation. Does the plastic quality seem different from the other Perry boxes?

    1. Thanks Soren, that's the problem with plastic figures , slim protruding pointy bits that can easily break!
The dismounted men at arms box is the only one I have ever purchased, they have nice smooth clean surfaces to paint and the detail on the parts is great. One plus in owning these is the amount of heads I have poached from the box to stick on the Swiss!

    2. Thanks for the insight Chris, I think I'll give them a try then when I'm on my Salute shopping spree. They look great when painted up and its an affordable way to build collections.

      Cheers,
      Sören
